Let’s Collaborate on Missions!

Ever started planning a mission trip and wished there were someone you could ask for advice and recommendations? Or collected a ton of items for disaster relief efforts but don’t have a way to get them to the people in need? Well, in the spirit of Missions Engagement, the Coordinating Council is asking for your help! All of our churches are out there in the world doing great things, and we want to be able to encourage and assist one other. To facilitate this, we’re creating a contact list of Missions coordinators that will function as a shared knowledge source of who’s doing what (disaster relief, Sowing Seeds of Hope, partnering with field personnel, etc.). Ideally, we’d like to see every church represented by at least one clergy member and one layperson so that we can disseminate and collect information and resources. Contact info will be shared with everyone in the group for the purposes of increased communication and collaboration. If you or someone you know is the Missions coordinator for your church, please fill out this form so that we can begin compiling our list. Once we have our contacts gathered, we’ll use the email listserv to both send out information about CBF Missions projects and to strengthen conversation among our churches.
